Current members of the MET Orchestra #Bass Section have recorded this piece in honor of our two recently retired colleagues, Charlie Urbont and Jeremy McCoy. The group writes: “We have missed Charlie in the pit everyday since
his retirement before the pandemic, and things will certainly be very different without Jeremy. In addition to a level of experience and artistry that only comes with over three decades in the pit, we will miss their humor and always colorful personalities. Happy retirement, guys!”
