Eric Owens announces our next Spotlight series concert “Warmth from Other Suns” this Sunday January 17th 3 EST. Tickets can be bought at spotlight.metorchestramusicians.org
The program features music from Sphinx organization Medal of Excellence winner Carlos Simon, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw, arrangements of the Magic Flute, William Tell and Lakme, plus the Andante con moto from Schubert‘s Death and the Maiden. Performers include: Chelsea Knox Principal Flute, Elaine Douvas Principal Oboe, Julia Bruskin Wunsch Cello, Qianwen Angela Shen and Julia Choi Violins, Chihiro Allen Viola, and Bryan Wagorn Piano.
